    Responsibilities

    • Apply knowledge of structural analysis (e.g., materials technology,finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, structural testing, etc.) to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance; and to collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.Reviewing and analyzing proposed repairs of damaged hardware. 
    • Using 3D software, performs Finite Element Analysis.  Coordinates with customer engineers on new repair and analysis techniques.

    Qualifications

    • B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
    • 9+ years of relevant experience
