Analyzes, plans, and controls the inventory levels, schedules and allocations of manufactured, purchased, and furnished materials. Analyzes and integrates bills of material, master schedules, and resources to determine demand. Authorizes acquisition or manufacture of product to satisfy demand and dispose of residual materials. Coordinates with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing to monitor and maintain lead time and schedules. Develops and implements strategies and methodologies within ordering policy.
